Artwork by grades 1, 2 & 3 at Kanata Montessori School

My grade 1, 2, 3 students at Kanata Montessori School learned about the colour wheel and its vocabulary. For the "cat" project, students focused on two principles of design (repetition and variety) and used complementary colours in their artwork.

Our studio will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Originals artwork, Prints, open lace scarves
Christmas decorations, birdhouse, bat house & birdfeeders by my husband Charles.

To kick off the show season,  I will be offering 10% off on all the prints in stock and no HST on a selection of originals. Offer valid November 30th and December 1st at the studio only

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of  Canada

Mixed-media light carving workshop

This past week eight delightful students came to the the studio to attend the workshop on "mixed-media light carving" I was teaching.

Grades 1.2 and 3 at Kanata Montessori School finished the cat project on complementary colours. I am SO proud of my students....A feast of colours for my eyes!
